Balance your brain

Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.
Thomas Merton

The most general law in nature is equity-the principle of balance and symmetry which guides the growth of forms along the lines of the greatest structural efficiency.
Herbert Read

A Balanced Brain makes for a Love of Life!

When someone who competes in martial arts loses their balance, they lose the contest.

Life itself is like that. We are going to get kicked at times. If our brain is off balance when life throws a kick at us, we are unable to move out of the way fast enough which means that we get hurt or knocked down. On the other hand, if our neural network is in balance, we have a natural instinct and ability to move in the manner called for in each situation.

Experiencing a meaningful life requires maintaining our balance. If we picture ourselves with the weight of the world on our shoulders, we feel we can hardly cope. With a balanced brain we feel an “okayness” despite the fact that we may be going through a difficult time. As a result, we find within ourselves the resilience to handle whatever life sends our way. We cope more effectively in even the most painful circumstances.

When we speak of balancing the brain, we are talking about allowing both the heart and the logic needed to execute the task to be present in appropriate amounts, given the situation. In a balanced brain, feeling and thought match each other, so that the end product of the person’s actions are tailored to both a logical solution and one that everybody can feel good about.

In our present world situation, where global warming and the pollution of our environment with thousands of toxic chemicals have emerged as a major threat to our wellness, the ability to rebalance our logic with feelings has become of critical importance. While balance is a key factor in achieving our goals in life in any area, what constitutes balance may vary from person to person. One of the skills to a successful and meaningful life is to discover what balance means for you as an individual. You need to ensure that your life is filled with the components that enable you to manage your stress and your life style, without constantly storing up additional stress and trauma. So balancing your brain with Brain Wave Optimisation is just the first step in making your life meaningful. It enables you to re-evaluate your life without the filters and traumas that previously caused you to react and behave in destructive ways.

When you balance your brain, it is working in an integrated fashion, free of internal conflict between its regions. Each area of the brain is as active as it needs to be in order to support the activity of the other areas. This is an energy efficient condition. It means that we are firing on all cylinders, with the feeling and thinking aspects of our brain functioning harmoniously. This is when we begin to catch a glimpse of our limitless potential.
